Trison Wells is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Walterboro, SC

Day Shift (time varies) and Night Shift 3:30 pm to 12:30 am

This position is responsible for ensuring that quality standards are being met throughout the entire manufacturing process (raw material, batch blending, filling, to final product packaging and storing) by performing quality inspections, analytical testing, and facilitating the flow of information across teams.

Responsibilities:

- Follow safety rules, wear required PPE, and report any safety incident or accident.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Review production batch records for completeness and accuracy.

- Use of general laboratory equipment (i.e. pH meter, balance, densitometer, etc.)

- Conduct in-process checks of packaging components, labeling, and lot coding.

- Verify product attributes against specifications and publish COAs per lot.

- Collect water samples using aseptic technique and process for external testing.

- Verify calibration of production scales and maintain certification of weight standards.

- Maintain digital daily quality records and external lab results.

- Monitor production environment for safety hazards as well as for GMP compliance.

- Collaborate in development of SOPs for new quality/lab equipment or methods.

- Participate in company mandated training and operational meetings as required.

Quality Assurance Technician Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience with general laboratory equipment, controls, and calibration standards.

- Basic knowledge of microbiological principles and aseptic collection technique.

- Use of enterprise resource systems and document management software.

- Microsoft Excel and Outlook email.

- Basic laboratory mathematics (i.e. dilutions, molecular weight, unit conversions, etc.)

- Active awareness for safety.

- Detail oriented.

- Development of methods and SOPs.

- Communicating effectively with employees across the entire organization, from helper to manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
